There are a million reasons to tell yourself not to take the trip. Work is busy. Money is tight. And the group chat still can’t agree on where to go.

But the best vacations don’t always come from perfectly planned itineraries.

Sometimes, the best way to get away is to just go, so Southwest is giving people permission to stop overplanning and just wing it.

ACtivation

winging it starts here

We took a decommissioned Southwest plane and gave it one last trip: traveling as a cocktail bar, touring the country’s biggest music festivals, and landing wherever Gen Z already is.

Turning the plane that can’t fly anymore into the thing that gets you flying.

Last call. leaving tomorrow

Scan the napkin's boarding pass, and it pulls up real, dirt-cheap Southwest flights leaving that same week.

Turning your drink into a trip you actually book.

One retired plane. Three festivals.

The bar takes off at Governors Ball in NYC, rolls through Bonnaroo in Tennessee, and makes its final landing at Framework in the Desert during Coachella, parked in an actual airport hangar in Thermal, CA.
